Planned Activities

    If you wish to attend the Friday and Saturday evening dinners and programs, registration forms and all applicable fees need to be mailed to our 2009 reunion organizers, Stillman Harding (778th Sqd.) and his daughter and son-in-law, by 1 Aug. 2009.

17 Sept. 09 - Thursday

Reunion registration begins at 1 p.m. The Plaza Hotel check-in time is 3 p.m.
[Graphic] BulletEvening:
Listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir as they rehearse for their weekly radio program from 8-9:30 p.m. During their mid-way break (at about 8:45) they will have stand and recognize any reunion groups that are visiting the rehearsal. Admission is free and visitors may come and go as they please.
Other tours located near the hotel include the Conference Center tour, Brigham Young's home, Cathedral of the Madeleine, the Gallivan Center, Rio Grand Depot/Utah Historical Society, The Gateway Shopping Complex and the Clark Planetarium. There are many other sightseeing and cultural opportunities within walking distance of the Plaza.
18 Sept. 09 - Friday

Free Continental Breakfast in the Hospitality Room of the Plaza from 7-9:30 a.m.
Reunion registration will continue all day.
[Graphic] BulletAfternoon:
Shopping, lunch and sightseeing on your own.
Tour Salt Lake City including the Historic Temple Square (free admission and free tours every 15 minutes), the Museum of Church History (admission is free and they usually have pioneer artifacts and art exhibits) and other local historic sites. Bring your family history information (name, birth date, locations of parents and grandparents etc.) and let the Family History Center help you trace your family tree. (This is a free service - both staff and volunteers at the center will be on the look-out for our 464th name badges in order to give us personal assistance during our visit.)

Hawaiian Dinner and a Program (RSVP on the 464th Reunion registration form, payment due with submission of form) begin at 7:00 p.m.
19 Sept. 09 - Saturday
Free Continental Breakfast in the Hospitality Room of the Plaza from 7-9:30 a.m.
Reunion registration will continue as needed.
464th Bomb Group Association Business Meeting begins at 11:00 a.m. until close. Families are welcome to attend.

Shopping, lunch and sightseeing on your own.

Banquet, Barbershop Quartet and Dancing to music from the 40s (RSVP on the 464th Reunion registration form, payment due with submission of form) begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Plaza Hotel Dining Room.
20 Sept. 09 - Sunday

Mormon Tabernacle Choir rehearsal from 7:30-9:00 a.m.
Free Live Radio performance by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in the Tabernacle on Temple Square from 9-10 a.m. If you attend, you must be in your seat by 9 a.m. and you must remain until after the broadcast at 10 a.m.
Shortly after 9 a.m. organizers will introduce, and have stand, each reunion group that is in attendance.
Hotel check-out is on your own.
